External Storage for iOS: GoFlex Satellite

Seagate has announced a rechargeable wireless harddrive that can connect up to 3 iOS device at one time called "GoFlex Satellite" hard drive. Anyone needing some extra storage will love this device the ability to take a larger number of HD movies, music, images without having to kill your data plan is always a plus.

IPad's comes in different storage capacities but none of which comes close to the 500gb the Goflex comes with. Using an external drive with an iPad is not a new idea, we have seen USB devices, CF card readers but the ability to access your drive wirelessly is a nice new feature that plenty of people will love and take advantage of.

The drive comes with a USB connection which allows the user to connect the hard drive to their computer. Files can then be transferred from the computer to the external drive and then streamed to your iOS devices wirelessly. The drive acts as a wireless hotspot for servings all your files.

As for battery life, you can watch 5 hours of video on 3 different iOS devices at the same time on one charge
